“So marvellous and relaxing hours at the spa, we enjoyed massage and the blossom filled bath. We really miss the wonderful time we spent at the place.”
Top 3 places to go in Bali, a personal preference, by Ms Thian from Singapore, a valued customer of our spa. Her visit was back in August 2007, today we are happy to find our Sekar Jagat Spa on her list. Thank you very much!
Okay, actually it’s more a kind of slide show, but what a slide show! Non-commercial, made by heart, just promoting the beauty of Bali’s nature and people. So gentle and dignified. Just as Bali at its best.
A guy from Thailand put it on YouTube two years ago, and till today it earned about 150.000 views.
If you plan to come to Bali, get a first impression via this little piece of art. If you miss Bali, watch this video and be touched by its grace and beauty.
The background music is a kind of Celtic music, maybe a bit strange when watching Bali pictures, but creates a perfect spiritual atmosphere. What do you think? -
One of our valued customers blogs about a few spa experiences that she have had during her visit in Bali. We are pleased to find that our spa service is highly recommended:
“I highly recommend this spa for their excellent service and value for money. The environment in this place is quiet because they do not accept group booking. Book online to get special direct booking rate. Price inclusive of taxes and transportation. Tipping is optional.”
French leading beauty magazine Les Nouvelles Esthetiques features Spa Sekar Jagat on five pages in its June 2008 issue.
After having inspected many spas and massage places on Bali, Monsieur Guy Dumont, French professional in massages and professor of yoga, opted for joining Spa Sekar Jagat for several days to carry out research into the art of authentic Balinese massage. The result is a detailed report with many pictures on procedures and techniques used in our spa performance. This document is now published in Les Nouvelles Esthetiques, underlining Spa Sekar Jagat’s expertise in Balinese spa treatment.
German travel guidebook publisher DuMont discovered us years ago and since then reports favourably of our spa, while continuously controlling our performance.
In the following the translation from German into English of the quarter-page entry:
Wellness & Food
Get pampered from head to foot at Spa Sekar Jagat, for example with Balinese Royal Body Lulur, a Balinese body mask that has been practised in the palaces of Bali.
In the attached restaurant with very personal service the Balinese owner creates local specialities such as Balinese duck, rijstafel or satay. Advance booking is a must because the food is being prepared fresh.
Islands magazineissue 03/2008 recommends Best Island Spas Round The World for an unforgettable authentic spa experience. We are pleased to find our spa in their recommendation:
“The spa experience in Bali ranges from an inexpensive storefront massage to the exotic relaxation landscapes of luxury resorts. In between, you’ll find day spas that offer open-air treatment rooms, gardens, pools and restaurants. Better yet, these day spas offer enticing packages of Indonesian treatments at affordable prices. If you’ve ever imagined soaking in a tub filled with hand-picked blossoms, being kneaded with aromatic oils by a practitioner of classic Balinese massage, or feeling your skin exfoliated with a fragrant paste of Eastern spices, here’s your chance. Always, you’ll be lulled by the sound of Balinese gamelan music and soothed with honey ginger tea. At Spa Sekar Jagat in Nusa Dua on the south coast of Bali, a half-day package, including transportation to and from the spa, is less than $100.”
