Since 1996, the Bali Tourism Development Corporation BTDC has held an annual festival supported by all components of the local community, called the Nusa Dua Festival. Since last year the name has been changed to the Nusa Dua Fiesta. The Nusa Dua Fiesta is also part of the government’s Visit Indonesia Year 2008 program.

Costing an estimated US$100.000 and supported by 20 stakeholders, 13 hotels and 7 tourism operations - the festival will once again feature cultural performances, live musical performance, sporting events, contests and product exhibitions:

A wood carving and painting exhibition, kid’s carnival and a family day, a golf tournament, a cabaret show and country Western music on stage, and there will be various competitions in karaoke, drawing, fruit and vegetable carving, sand sculpture, traditional food eating and Balinese costumes.

This years theme of the fiesta is Green Tourism, following the United Nations Climate Change Conference at Nusa Dua in December 2007. Therefore the Nusa Dua Fiesta will also conduct a series of environmental awareness programs

The event ends on 14 October with a great show attended by Bali’s governor Made Mangku Pastika, big fireworks and a Padma Nareswari performance by the Guruh Soekarno Putra Group.

Our high quality VCO is cold pressed, organic and unrefined. No preservatives, no added chemicals, no artificial colors or flavors. Free of cholesterol for a healthy living. Its very rich lauric acid content (>55%), similar to mothers milk, strengthens your immune system and has significant anti-viral, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties.

VCO is also a natural health food and can be consumed regularly and will assist your body in maintaining good health and vitality. It tastes good, is easy to digest and is a quick energy source. Drink 3-6 tablespoons a day to keep you healthy. Enhancing the flavor of many foods it is an excellent cooking oil.

VCO is also used as massage oil and moisturizer. For centuries traditional healers in India and the South Pacific have used coconut oil for massage to soothe and cool the body. It is used to alleviate symptoms of eczema, and other milder skin ailments, such as nappy rash. Because it is absorbed quickly by the skin, it does not leave a sticky feeling.
